So, I finally got to finish my semester 1 exams on Friday but instead of celebrating by going to the EoX (end of exams) massive party with 1500 other people from my uni, I went up to the snow Since I had year 12 last year I didn't get to go snowboarding at all so I was super excited, despite missing out on partying with my friends.

Not many runs were open, since it had rained during the week, but like I said- I was just so excited to be back on my board I didn't care that it was drizzling and the snow was dodge Besides, I've been going to that mountain, Mt. Buller, since I was very little, so I know what to expect (rain, fog) and what not to expect (fresh snow, long runs, short queues). I've been over to America twice to snowboarding in Colorado and it's a completely different world. The mountains are just... immense compared to our little hills in Australia.

Next time I go up it'll be with a couple of my friends, which should be really fun. We'll get to go to the mountain's infamous nightclub, Kooroora, for the first time Hopefully it'll be as good as my brother makes it sound!

Site updates: Well my computer is overrun with viruses at the moment and our internet is being super dodgy so I'm sorry I haven't updated in a little while. Plus I had an exam to contend with BUT I've added some things today! Yay! Please enjoy:

Last.fm is a great site to visit when you feel like you've overplayed all the music you currently have and are looking for something new. When you sign up you make a profile including a list of the artists you listen to, and then the site recommends other bands you might like, based on the artists that other users have listed together. This is how I stumbled upon Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!

I've been meaning to sit down and sort out cutenews for The Aviary for a little while now and look, it's done!

This is a ridiculously boring post but it's just to replace the tester post I had before it, so please excuse it. I'll try to replace it soon :wink:
